Is Procrastination Costing Your Business More Than Time? |

We all know that time is one of the most valuable resources that we do not have the luxury to waste. The time we spend can never be recovered. It is therefore important to use and manage our time wisely. When time = money, can your business afford to lose either?
How much money are you losing by wasting time?
One of the biggest time wasters in people’s lives is procrastination. We all know what it is. Most people tend to delay doing things that should have been done a long time ago. When we continue to procrastinate, success will always be elusive in our lives. People who take action are those that will usually get ahead in life.
Procrastination = fear of failure = fear of risk and loss. |

Consider how long you’ve been putting off launching a new website, marketing campaign or business endeavor. The time you spent procrastinating could’ve been time spent making your business money. What’s really holding you back? Is it the financial cost of such endeavors or the fear of losing and failing?
According to a New York Times article, there is a phenomenon called “hyperbolic discounting” or the tendency to value what you have now rather than what you might gain later. For example, even though $200 is more than $50, people are often more likely to take $50 now rather than wait for a bigger pay-off down the road.
The article went on to say: To many, “it seems more valuable to avoid the stress of writing checks and dealing with confounding contract terms — even though the payoff on the other end of those efforts will save you a nice chunk of money or sanity, or both.”
Think of the money saved and gained when people and companies strive for more NOW. Put on your Nike shoes and run with it. Yeah! Jump on it. Go for it. Right now is the moment. Apply the wisdom from Confucius, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
So start with zero hesitation. Use initiative to annihilate procrastination. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.
It is said that everything is attitude and attitude is everything.
Joseph Addison sums it up with this proverb, "Swift and resolute action leads to success; self-doubt is a prelude to disaster."
What work having you been putting off? Do it now! Without question! If you continue to wait, you will be waiting forever. No mistake about it, the simple choice comes down to: Do it or lose it. Positively YES is the answer that moves mountains.
Let Buckaroo help you move that mountain, strive for more and do more, today!
